GRADUATE TESTIMONIALS

Student PhotoMCC prepared me very well for my Pharmacy Technician position. The training and the teachers are excellent. If it wasn't for MCC, I would not be doing this and they gave me the inspiration to go back to school to become a Pharmacist. I love my job at Walgreen's Pharmacy. MCC was great in helping me to achieve my goals.

Patrina A. (PT 2006)

Student PhotoBeing a part of Milwaukee Career College is the best thing that could have happened to me. Such great experience for going into the workforce field.

Carolyn B. (MA 2006)

Student PhotoMilwaukee Career College is a great school. The staff and teachers are wonderful and willing to take that extra step to help you. MCC has small classes, very intimate and tons of hands-on experience, which was a huge reason why I chose to attend MCC. The classes were kind of a challenge, but okay to handle because you have the staff to help you as well as your classmates that are in the same boat you are when you are learning something new. After I graduated I had a ton of interviews, but it did take me a couple months to finally find a job that was good for me. I am now employed by Froedtert Hospital/Medical College of Wisconsin and I use everything that I learned and some more that I learned on the job as being a LOVELY MEDICAL ASSISTANT!!!!!!!!

I have also recommended to many of my friends that if they would like to enhance their knowledge to consider Milwaukee Career College. Student PhotoMCC has provided me with the necessary tools and education that I needed to became a Medical Assistant. Because of the experience and training I have received, I have now enrolled at Cardinal Stritch University's RN program for the Spring of 2007. Since Graduation from MCC, I have worked for Covenant Health Care (Wheaton Franciscan Health Care) and I am currently working for Aurora Health Care in Family Practice. A career in healthcare is the best career that I could have chosen. Thank you MCC.

Student PhotoSince graduation it has been a whirlwind of activity for me. I interviewed at Aurora in Port Washington also. Received an offer after Plymouth, but they wanted what was best for me in both positions and being that Port was part-time they actually spoke to Administrator to see about getting more hours for me to accept that position. It was not approved unfortunately, but nevertheless it was great to have 2 offers. I also heard back from Quad/Med in Lomira after I had accepted a position. They had wanted to setup an interview with me; she stated that my personality just shined through my resume. I have her name and phone number in case things don't work out. They are definitely interested in me. I wanted to thank both of you for all your help with my resume. I received responses on almost all the positions I applied for!! I had more confidence than I ever had in my entire life of interviewing. It is a combination of so many things really. My resume is a huge part of that. My externship experience gave me so much to carry me right through all my interviews. The feedback I got was of being very impressed with all that I was exposed to both at MCC and my externship. I plan to e-mail Dr. Prater to thank her personally for what that has all meant to me. I have missed being a Medical Assistant in these last 5 weeks of job searching. Even though it was probably the biggest challenge of my life attending school at MCC and my externship, I am totally convinced it is what I am meant to do and enjoy it so much. It comes so natural being with the patients and making a difference and no one could be more proud of me than me!! .I found plenty of job openings on Synergy's website, Aurora's, Careerbuilders.com, JobSpider and Wijobs.com. Please let the students know of these resources if they already do not. I would be happy to help you in the future with prospective students who are looking for jobs in my area.

Cathy T. (MA 2004)

Student PhotoMy experience at MCC was great! I met lots of new friends. The training experience was good, lots of hands-on techniques was the best. I am now working at an excellent clinic. The doctor is one of the nicest people you would want to meet. My goal in becoming a Certified Medical Assistant was met while attending MCC. I plan to further my education in becoming a Physical Therapist.
